Taylor Swift To Appear In The Hannah Montana Movie
Taylor Swift is teaming with Miley Cyrus and dad Billy Ray Cyrus for "Hannah Montana: The Movie," Swift tells People Magazine. "I'm making a cameo," says the 18-year-old, "so I'm so excited about that. I'm playing one of my own songs and just in the background of one of the scenes."
Although one of country's hottest new stars, Swift doesn't mind sharing the spotlight in the Disney feature. "I'm just like the bar band, which is kinda fun." Expressing her anticipation, Swift adds, "I'm just really excited about it because it's really cool when some of my little fans will come up with a "Hannah Montana" shirt on and I want to be like, "Guess what? I get to be in that movie with her!"
Swift also spoke highly of her pal. "Miley Cyrus is awesome. I love her so much. She is so incredibly funny and sweet!" Swift gushed. "It's fun to get to see her because we both have been on the road constantly and with us both in Nashville now, it will be cool to get to hang out with her."
Country group, the Rascal Flatts will also appear in the movie, which is set to hit theaters in 2009 and deals with Montana taking a trip with her father to her Tennessee hometown, where she gains a perspective on her double life.
The creator of "Hannah Montana" has called on the press to leave Miley Ray Cyrus alone. Michael Poryes, co-creator and executive producer of the show, insists Miley should be able to pose whenever she wants.
He declared: "To say the tabloids are paying attention to her is a very kind way of saying it. It becomes like "Miley Cyrus bites her finger nails" is news at 11. They don't give her a break for being able to go through aches and pains of being an adolescent. Everyone has the right to go through being an adolescent."
Michael revealed that everyone involved with the show is going out of their way to make Miley feel better about herself. "The challenge of that is to do our best to make Miley feel, at least in this circle of people, that it's fine to make mistakes."
On June 28th, the ABC network will air a special segment featuring Behind The Scenes footage from the "7 Things" music video shoot followed by director Brett Ratner and Miley Cyrus introducing the video. The event will take place sometime between 8PM-10PM EST during ABC's television premiere of "The Haunted Mansion".
On August 4th, Miley Cyrus will host the 2008 Teen Choice Awards, which will be broadcasted on the FOX network from 8:00-10:00PM eastern. The award show will celebrate the hottest teens in comedy, fashion, film, music, sports, and television.
Miley has luckily received four nominations this year, which include: Choice TV Actress: Comedy, Choice TV Comedy: Hannah Montana, Choice Music Single: See You Again, and Choice Music: Female Artist.

On July 26th, the Disney Channel will present the World Television Premiere of the "Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best Of Both Words Concert" film in Digital-3D starting at 8PM eastern.
Before the concert premiere, fans will be able to pick up complimentary 3D glasses from the "Back To School" display area nation-wide at all participating Wal-Mart stores starting on July 5th while supplies last.
Nick Jonas revealed to Twist, that he wrote two emotional songs just after his breakup with Miley Ray Cyrus. "Sorry" and "Let Me Down" will be on the Jonas Brothers' upcoming album "A Little Bit Longer," out August 12th.
Nick spilled: "Sorry" is about being away from your crush. One line is "I'm sorry for breaking all the promises I wasn't around to keep." So it's saying "I'm sorry I wasn't there to keep these promises, but you know that I still really care about you." "Let Me Down" is about a girfriend telling you you're not good enough of hearing that you're not doing enough for her."
College Road Trip Disney Home Entertainment has marked July 15 to release the Martin Lawrence and Raven-Symone comedy College Road Trip on Blu-ray Disc. The release will be day-and-date with DVD. Is it finally time for an adult to step in and ground Miley Cyrus? The star of the Disney series "Hannah Montana" is the biggest tween sensation in the world and earns millions of dollars every year. But when it comes to acting out, she's just like any other teenage girl - and her mom, Tish, has had enough! She's now put the brakes on her out of control daughter's bad attitude, snotty comments and online flirting with boys and older men.
According to a report from this week's Star Magazine, Tish grounded the 15-year-old Hannah Montana sensation in May - and has even forbidden her to use her computer! "Miley is getting too big for her britches and had to be taken down a notch," says a friend of the family spilled to the weekly entertainment magazine. "And Tish is the only person capable of doing it!
On the set of Miley Ray Cyrus' new music video '7 Things,' she was told by photographers and a producer 'to picture Nick Jonas face' on the floor when smashing her guitar into it. An insider told oceanUP exclusively:
'They kept telling her to picture Nick throughout the shoot. Even more so when smashing the guitar! Apparently they dated off and on for a year and then Nick broke it off before Christmas last year. They have been trying to patch up their friendship because of the media.'
Recently, a picture Miley and Nick's first kiss emerged on Miley's Blackberry, proving they once had a close relationship. This guitar smashing incident is just further evidence that '7 Things' was written about Miley's bitter breakup with Nick.
Rascal Flatts will appear and perform in Hannah Montana: The Movie, a publicist for the band’s record label announced Wednesday (June 4). The film, currently being shot in the Nashville area, is based on the popular Disney Channel series starring Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus. Rascal Flatts record for Lyric Street Records, a Nashville-based label that is part of the Disney Music Group. Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus also record for Disney. Additional details of Rascal Flatts’ involvement in the film have not been revealed. The band is taking a break from touring but will return to the road for a June 13 show in St. Louis. They have shows booked through the end of September.

In a recent interview with J-14, Miley revealed that there will be a third season of "Hannah Montana" (as already previously confirmed). Just a few months ago industry mogul Miley Ray Cyrus trademarked a ton of 'Miley' merchandise including, dolls, electronics, Christmas tree decorations, cookie jars, etc. In addition to this, Miley hopes to launch her own fragrance an clothing line. She revealed to J-14:
'I would love to have my own clothing line because my style is different from a lot of people. I like starting trends, but I also like to be comfortable. I like to be casual but cute and stylish at the same time.' Miley wants her line to look similar to her favorite designer Marc Jacobs..
..It's young and it is expensive and couture, but it's not totally unaffordable. It's more funky, and it looks like it just came of the runway, but it's still casual.
Miley is already looking towards her new future. She plans on finishing the Hannah Montana series soon. 'We're doing the movie, and then one more season, maybe two. It's probably going to be one more season though.'
I am in the preparation stages of presenting my new concept reality show to the Disney Channel called "Who Wants To Be The Next Disney Channel Star"! The show would tour America in search of the next person to become a star on the Disney Channel. There would be open casting calls that would take place in various cities throughout the United States. Contestants would perform acting, singing, or dancing routines. They would then be narrowed down to finalists who would come to Burbank, California to compete in a reality show in which the winner would receive a contract to star in a Disney Channel Television Show or Feature Film.
The talent search phase "could" also include possible dates and locations in the UK, Australia, and Canada. This decision would ultimately be up the the studio, however I personally would absolutely love to see the show travel to these areas.
Kids under 18 years of age would need a legal guardian or parents signed consent and they would have to accompany the minor child or teen throughout the production. The dates and locations for the open casting calls will be posted here as they become available. I would love to hear any comments and suggestions regarding this project.
Alan Baltes, the publisher of Disney Channel Stardom blog and various Acting & Auditions websites, wants to pitch his Jonas Brothers - Miley Cyrus birthday bash idea to Disney Channel and Hollywood Records. The version of his concept would have fans send in a homemade video performing a skit telling why they should win a birthday bash with either Miley Cyrus or the Jonas Brothers.

i made a fresh new layout with some brand new pictures of Miley :).
